You're T-Shirts are quite expensive, aren't they?
Yes, they are more than some t-shirts but typically you get what you pay for. We sell highly quality t-shirts and create a new design especially for you, as well as pay our wonderful alphabet designers who spent many hours creating these magical designs. There's a lot of work that goes into each custom made T-shirt.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Do you sell gift certificates?
No. We encourage you to take a risk and choose a design for a t-shirt as a gift. It's more thoughtful and personal that way.

What happens if the item I order is unavailable?
Although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products and sizes. If we are out of stock on an item you have ordered, we will notify you via e-mail.
What sales tax do you charge?
Sales tax is charged only to California State residents where alphabet-shirts.com does it's fulfillment from. CA retail sales tax is 7.5%.
What size grids do you create?
Our standard grids are 6 letters wide and 8 letters down.
How long can my words be?

Do you do your printing yourselves?
No, the wonderful people at printful do it for us. That's what they're great at.
What type of printing process is used on your apparel?
All of our shirts are printed direct to garment. You can see a video of what that means HERE
About Direct to Garment Printing
You may notice some discoloration or off white residue on your apparel. Do not worry! This is a special solution used for printing and can sometimes leave marks during the drying process. These are not stains and will wash off after the first wash cycle. Our apparel is created with the latest in garment printing technology. In addition, our inks are water based and eco-friendly. This makes the feel much softer than traditional screen printed shirts, but just as durable!
What type of ink do you use?
We use genuine Brother GT-3, water based pigment inks. GT-3 inks are CPSIA compliant and Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on youth/children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. Also, GT-3 inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.
How durable are DTG printed shirts compared to Screen Printed shirts?
Our experience shows us that DTG printed shirts are just as durable as screen printed shirts when it comes to washability.
How should I wash my printed garments?
Because DTG printing is the design bonding to the glue (pre-treatment) and not the actual shirt, washing incorrectly can result in excessive damage to the printed design.
While the manufacturers do provide washing instructions, these do not necessarily take into account the added print on the garment. We suggest using the follow instructions when washing your garment:
*Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Only non-chlorine bleach, when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.*
Be wary of washing and drying on a high setting, especially when the garment is 100% cotton.
High temperature washes can fade and crack the print, and high temperature dryer settings can shrink the garment, as well as damage the print.

How long does it take for my stuff to arrive?
Standard shipping for orders in the contiguous US takes 5-10 business days. Once your order is made it is sent to our printing center. It takes 2-5 business days to print and then 3-5 additional business days to ship. While we can't guarantee it most people receive their goods in a week.
What shipping method do you use?
Standard shipping for orders in the United States are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail.
Where can I find the tracking information for my orders?
All orders delivered within the United States by USPS have full tracking available. We'll send your tracking number so you can follow up on the status of your orders here. All tracking numbers can be found in the shipping notification emails we send out. If it has been more than 24 hours since you received a shipping notification and the tracking still reflects no action or movement, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Do you ship overseas?
Yes. If you live outside of the USA, it is likely that you will be charged additional customs fees and import taxes on orders. Every country has different regulations on how they handle imported goods. We recommend you visit this Duty Calculator to get an estimate of what you will be charged when the package arrives. We do not pre-pay or cover any import fees.
Any additional taxes, fees, tariffs, import fees, and surcharges levied by destination countries are the responsibility of the customer. Alphabet Shirts cannot determine in advance the amount, if any, that will be charged. Please check with customs of your country to ascertain if any additional charges will be applied to your order.
If you refuse to pay customs charges on an incoming shipment, it will be returned to Alphabet Shirts at our expense. We will then deduct that charge, as well as any additional customs charges, from the refund of the original purchase price.
What is your return/exchange policy?
Since each item is custom made for you, we don't accept exchanges unless the product or print is faulty. If there is a fault with your product then we ask for photo verification sent to email@example.com. We ask that you return the product and we will send a replacement in the same size and colour as your original order.
We highly recommend double checking our sizing charts before ordering.
What if the product is damaged in the mail?
We ask for photo verification of the damaged goods sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, then we'll gladly send a replacement at no cost to you.
How do I report a problem with my order?
You can report problems with an order by emailing us at email@example.com. Be aware that we may require a photo to be submitted with your problem report to begin a reshipment. It is always best to include photos with your initial problem report to avoid delays.
How long do I have to submit a claim for a return/exchange?
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 14 days after the product is received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no more than 14 days after the estimated delivery date.
